Sunday breakfast with French toast

This morning i thought i should try something new for breakfast...French toast! Yes, i have never eaten french toast in my life, never! My friend Xrisa from Greece suggested it to me some days ago, her lovely mother used to prepare it for her family and Xrisa is continuing this tradition and she is making it now for her family. It is easy to do it, it is fast and delicious! I love it! Thank you Xrisa for the recipe.

You will need:

2 eggs
4 pieces of bread (any kind of bread you want)
Olive oil
Sugar
Honey

Put some olive oil in a pan and turn the heat on, beat the eggs and pour them into a shallow bowl (You can add some milk in the egg mixture if you like). Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing bread to soak up some of the mixture and put the bread in the pan. Fry until it's brown on both sides, flipping the bread when necessary, be careful that it doesn't get burned.

Serve hot with honey, sugar, fresh fruits or u can just eat them as they are.

(This recipe serves 2 people, 2 slices of bread per person, if you want this for more people add more eggs and of course bread).

Bon Appetit!
